
Staff
ECWA Hospital, Egbe currently has 68 staff members who include medical, administrative and maintenance staff of the hospital, as well as staff of the ECWA Schools of Nursing and Midwifery. The goal of our staff is to provide excellent service while demonstrating the love and compassion of Christ to co-workers and patients.
Dr. S.B. Shaibu, Consultant Family Physician and Acting Medical Director, joined the hospital in November 2005. A resident of Okene in Kogi State, Dr. Shaibu trained in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria for his MBBS. He passed his West African College of Physician Part II examination in Family Medicine in March 2011.
Dr. Jonah Adukwu is from Ejule in Kogi State. He studied medicine at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He joined the hospital in August 2007 as a Supernumerary Resident in the Department of Family Medicine. He is currently a Senior Resident in the Residency Program.
Dr. Mani Barmina, from Plateau State, studied medicine at the University of Jos. He joined the hospital in August 2008 for his residency training in Family Medicine. He was successful in his Part I membership exams in March 2011, moving him from Medical Officer to Senior Registrar II.
Dr. Adeniji Adeniyi, hailed from Offa in Kwara State, studied medicine at the University of Jos. He joined the residency training programme of the hospital in April 2011. Having passed his Primary examination of West African College of Physician in 2008, he is currently a Registrar I.
Dr. /Mrs. Racheal Barminas joined the hospital in October 2008 as a Medical Officer. Originally from Nasarawa State, she studied medicine at the University of Jos. She is married to Dr. Mani Barminas. She joined the residency programme of the hospital in April 2011 and has passed her Primary examination of West African College of Physician.
Dr. Nedosa Kene is from Anambra State. He studied medicine at the University of Jos and joined the hospital in September 2007 for his residency training in Family Medicine. He is currently a Senior Registrar.
Dr. Kowontan Kolawole joined the hospital in October 2008 for his residency training in Family Medicine. He was successful in his primary fellowship exams in April 2009 which lifted him from Medical Officer to a Registrar. Hailed from Odo Ere, Yagba West LGA , in Kogi State, Dr. Kolawole studied medicine at the University of Jos.
Mrs. Janet Memudu is currently the Director of Nursing Services. A long term staff member, she joined the hospital in 1975. She received her training at ECWA School of Midwifery, Egbe and her nursing training at Adewole School of Nursing Ilorin Teaching Hospital. Mrs. Memudu hails from Koro in Kwara State.
Mr. Paul Abolaji is the Hospital Secretary/Senior Admin Officer. Originally from Egbe, Mr. Abolaji received his training in Secretarial studies and Public Administration at Kogi State Polytechnic. He joined the hospital in April 1992.
Mr. Jimoh, former Auditor of Igbaja Theological Seminary, assumed the position of Accountant in June 2010. Mr. Jimoh received his training in Accountancy at Kwara State Polytechnic.
Mr. Sunday Jerome Daramola, Assistant Chief Internal Auditor, joined the hospital in 2002. He studied Accountancy at the University of Ado Ekiti for his Bachelor and Masters of Business Administration. A certified member of ANAN , he is originally from Etan in Kwara State.
Rev. Emmanuel Aiyebulu joined the hospital in 2006. He is the hospital Chaplain/Minister-in-charge of ECWA Chapel of Blessing, Egbe. He was trained in ECWA Theological Seminary, Igbaja and United Missionary Church of Africa Theological College Ilorin for his BTh and MTh respectively. He hails from Ogbe in Kogi State.
Mr. Samuel Olugbenga Adeyemi, is the Head of the Laboratory Department. He was trained in Science Laboratory at the Kwara State Polytechnic. Originally from Egbe, he joined the hospital in March 1996.
Mr. Godwin O. Iyoha, the Asst. Chief Pharmacist of the hospital is from Esan in Edo State. He received pharmacy training at the University of Benin, Edo State, and joined the hospital in March 2001.

ECWA School of Nursing, Egbe
Elder Akande Levi Olutunu, formerly Vice Principal has been appointed Principal of ECWA School of Nursing, Egbe. He joined the school of nursing in September 1993, having completed training in general nursing, psychiatric nursing and a degree in Health Education at the University of Ado Ekiti. Mr. Akande is originally from Mopa, Kwara State.
ECWA School of Midwifery, Egbe
Mrs. Mary Aje is from Ogori in Kogi State. She studied nursing/midwifery at nursing schools ABU Zaria/Ilorin and Health Education at the University of Ado Ekiti. Mrs. Aje joined ECWA School of Midwifery, Egbe in June 1983 as the Vice Principal. She is currently the Principal of the School.
Mrs. Racheal Owolola joined the ECWA School of Midwifery in January 2006 and is currently a midwife tutor and Vice principal of the School. Originally from Irepodun LGA in Kwara State, Mrs. Owolola studied nursing/midwifery at nursing schools ABU Zaria/Ilorin.
